If you’re looking to learn how to country swing dance with ease, then this Bootcamp is for you!

STEP is proud to present a beginner & intermediate four-week two-step swing Bootcamp taught by Rich. In this course, we promise to teach you the basic footwork, frame, and twenty dance moves that will make you ready to dance at any honky-tonk!

Let’s Break It Down…

 

Week One.

 

In this first week, we will be focusing on footwork, basic spins, slides, and turns. You’ll learn the difference between line dancing and two-step, what is a lead vs a follow, and how to communicate and cue your partner with ease.

Week Two.

 

Now that we’ve got the basics of two-step dancing down, it’s time to add some spins! We’ll review the last week’s moves and then add on moves like the Infinity Loops, Double Arm Spin, and the Neck Slide.

Week Three.

 

Halfway through the Bootcamp, you’re now ready to add in some sexy moves. We'll start off with the classic Princess Dip and then move into the Sexy Walk Back with a Push. You’ll leave this class being able to incorporate your flare to the basics on any dance floor!

Week Four.

 

During the last day of our two-step dance Bootcamp, you’ll be learning intermediate moves like the Neck Dip, Pretzel, The Proposal, and the Candle Stick. After this class, you’ll have learned twenty new dance moves to practice at any honky-tonk!!

INTERMEDIATE BOOTCAMP

Intermediate Bootcamp.

If you’re looking to level up your two-step skills, take this new two-week bootcamp class.

Introducing our intermediate two-week two-step bootcamp course! This course is designed for those comfortable with their basic two-step moves, but are seeking help with their advanced dance steps.

Please note that our beginner class is welcome to both singles and couples, but for the Intermediate class, you will need to bring a partner. Only couple tickets will be available for this bootcamp.

What You’ll Learn

 

Week One.

First, we’ll review the basics of footwork and teach reverse footwork. We’ll also cover the importance of holding your weight and holding your partner tight during advanced moves. Then, you’ll learn moves like the suicide drop, triple threat, and lean dip.

Week Two

We already built our foundation, so to start off we’ll review what we learned in the previous week. You’ll then learn some more advanced two-step moves like the barrel roll and the advanced neck slide dip. After this class, you’ll be ready to practice more advanced dance moves!
